The Science of Black Hair
Hey, hey
So... Since going on my current hair health and length journey, I have found that a lot of people and things have sparked my interest.
First and foremost, 'The Science of Black Hair' is 'The World's best selling book on Black Hair' by Audrey Slvasothy. If any of you guys have been following and or been around any form of natural hair community, you may have stumbled upon this book and or a review of this book. I was told of this book by a YouTuber (can't really remember which one) at some point last year and it sparked a lil' sum' sum' in me but being the lazy person I [was], I just didnt follow through.
THANKFULLY for me, Audrey, the books' author, has very recently decided to create a YouTube channel, voicing all the topics of the black hair discussion in her book via videos. Words cannot describe how happy I was to stumble upon this! So I thought I would bring to you guys her weekly uploads so we can LEARN about our hair TOGETHER.
I definitely have to applaud ANY discussion on black hair. A lot of us don't know but there really is a science to our hair that has to be taught to us! Its only until recent times that this discussion has really come out to play. Our hair is different to your typical straight, european-like hair and so should be treated and cared for as such - DIFFERENTLY.
ENJOY
-Kisses.
